Schools register and manage a lot of information about their applicants. The information can be really helpful, such as parents’ phone numbers and e-mail addresses. Other information can be collected because it is required by the authorities, such as place of birth, which will only be necessary for final reports printing. Common basic information collected includes name, surname, social security number,… Anyway, it would be useful to have all the information registered electronically.

All information about freshmen has to be registered. That’s why we have prepared an option for the applicants to fill out their data directly on the school webpage.

While the first-year students get acquainted with the school and meet their future teachers, the parents have to fill out several forms with lots of information. All the information in the forms have to be later transcribed into a computer. Why not allowing the parents to access the school computer to fill out the data during the enrollment day? They can fill out the data themselves. The school just checks if the form has been filled out properly. The social security number has to be checked anyway. If the school needs the parents signature, just print the form out and let the parents sign it.

To fill out the application form the parents do not need access to the school information system – it would be against the security and safety rules anyway. Parents need access to the application form only. The application form can be accessible on the school webpage from any computer.

The system enables the administrator to further work with the applicants’ data. The data can be accepted into the Agenda Online system where a file for the student is created. Irrelevant data from incomplete or false applications can be rejected or deleted.
